Towigo — on-demand towing service

All four wheels off the road

Flatbed towing service

A flatbed tow truck carries your vehicle on a flat bed instead of pulling it, so no wheel turns and nothing drags on the road. It is the method to ask for when the vehicle is low, automatic, electric, all-wheel drive, damaged or simply valuable.

Book a flatbed on Towigo in about a minute: enter where the vehicle is and where it should go, see the fare, pay a small token online and follow the truck on a live map.

  • Vehicle carried, not pulled
  • Fare shown before you confirm
  • Live driver tracking
  • Local and long-distance

When to choose flatbed towing

Automatic cars

Many automatics should not be towed with the drive wheels on the road. A flatbed avoids that risk altogether.

Electric vehicles

EVs are normally moved on a flatbed, because turning the wheels can feed power back into the motor. Check your owner's manual and tell us the model when you book.

Low and sports cars

A long, gentle ramp helps a low-clearance car load without scraping the front splitter or the sump.

All-wheel drive

All four wheels are driven, so none can safely turn on the road. A flatbed keeps them all still.

Accident-damaged vehicles

A car with bent steering, a damaged axle or a jammed wheel can still be winched on and moved safely.

Long-distance moves

For intercity runs, carrying the vehicle keeps wear off its tyres, gearbox and engine.

How flatbed towing works with Towigo

  1. 1

    Tell us where and what

Enter the pickup, the drop and the vehicle. Share the problem so the right truck is sent.

  2. 2

    See the fare and confirm

The fare is shown before you confirm. Pay a small token online to book.

  3. 3

    The truck arrives

A verified driver is assigned and you can follow the truck live, with the driver's details in your booking.

  4. 4

    Load, secure and move

The driver winches or drives the vehicle onto the bed, restrains the wheels and takes it to your drop point. You pay the balance by cash or UPI there.

Have this ready when you book

The more we know, the better the truck we send.

  • Where the vehicle is: share your live location or the nearest landmark, and the floor if it is in a basement.
  • Make, model and whether it is automatic, electric or all-wheel drive.
  • Whether it rolls, steers and can be put in neutral, or is damaged.
  • The drop point: your garage, service centre or home.
  • Keys, and any wheel-lock key if the wheels have locking nuts.

What sets the fare

You see the fare, with every charge listed, before you confirm. These are the things that move it.

Distance

The fare grows with the distance. We count the trip both ways because the truck has to return, and the charge lines show exactly how.

Where it is

A basement, a narrow lane or a highway shoulder can change the work needed to load the vehicle.

Vehicle and condition

A non-rolling or damaged vehicle takes more effort than one that rolls.

Tolls and time of day

Tolls on the route are passed through, and some hours or areas carry an adjustment. All of it is shown before you confirm.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Letting a wheel-lift truck tow an automatic or EV with its drive wheels on the ground.
  • Leaving the handbrake on, or the steering locked, when the vehicle will not roll.
  • Not telling the driver the vehicle is low, so the wrong ramp is brought.

Flatbed towing: questions

Is flatbed towing more expensive than other towing?

It can cost more than a short under-lift tow because the truck and the loading take more work. For automatics, EVs, low and damaged cars it is usually the right choice, and you see the fare before you confirm.

Can a flatbed carry a car that will not start or roll?

Yes. The driver can winch a non-running vehicle onto the bed. Tell us when you book if it is stuck, locked or damaged.

Can you move my car to another city on a flatbed?

Yes. Enter the drop city when you book. You will see the fare for the full trip before you confirm.

Do you tow electric cars?

Yes, on a flatbed. Tell us the model when you book so the right truck and ramp are sent.
